Lucerne Quartz

Lucerne Silks FabricF3931-79

Lucerne Quartz reads as a pale quartz cream with a cool, luminous cast and a very gentle silk sheen. The surface looks smooth and refined, with just enough texture to keep the colour from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% silk, Lucerne Quartz has the fine, fluid handle you would expect from a fabric made to drape elegantly, and the approximate 138cm width gives useful coverage for larger curtain drops. There is no repeat, so the cloth presents as a clean, uninterrupted plain with a subtle crosswise slub that catches the light. Its colour sits between cream and soft grey, giving it a restrained quartz tone rather than a warm ivory. The effect is calm and polished, with the silk finish adding a faint lustre rather than a strong shine.

How to use it

Use this pale quartz tone for softly tailored curtains, Roman blinds or pared-back pelmets where you want light to skim the fabric. It pairs especially well with cool stone, pale timber and darker accents that sharpen the understated sheen.

A quietly luminous silk that works beautifully in tailored curtains or understated layering.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
