Lucerne Sage
Lucerne Silks FabricF3931-51
Lucerne Sage is a quiet, powdery green silk with a softly matte sheen and a smooth, even surface. Its pale sage tone reads calm and airy rather than bright, giving the cloth a restrained elegance.

About this fabric
From the Lucerne Silks collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is woven in 100% silk and has no visible repeat, so the colour sits cleanly across the cloth. The 138cm approximate width makes it practical for full-width curtains and refined soft furnishings, while the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code are supplied for planning. Visually, Lucerne Sage is a diluted sage green with a cool, misted cast and just enough natural silk glow to catch the light without looking glossy. The weave appears fine and even, which keeps the finish understated and tailored. It is a subtle choice when you want colour on the window that feels fresh but not forceful.
How to use it
Use it for elegant curtains, Roman blinds, or a softly tailored pelmet where the sage tone can sit against limestone, pale timber, or warm white walls. It also works well in a layered interior with deeper greens and quiet neutrals, since the colour has an easy, atmospheric softness.
A calm silk sage that layers beautifully with pale oak, chalk white, and brushed brass.

Pairs well with
Lucerne Sage is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
