About this fabric

This Malabar Leaf colourway combines a muted olive motif with a light, sandy background, giving the cloth an understated, speckled look rather than a strong contrast. The repeat is approximately V 15cm / H 11cm, which helps the small leaf pattern sit in gentle vertical bands across the width. Woven in 90% cotton and 10% polyester and measuring approximately 132cm wide, it has the practicality of a decorative fabric that can sit comfortably on furniture or at the window. The overall effect is fresh but restrained, with the green reading earthy and softened rather than bright.

How to use it

Use it to bring subtle pattern to upholstered chairs, cushions, or relaxed curtains where the olive tone can sit against oak, rattan, and chalky neutrals. It works especially well in rooms that need colour without losing a calm, natural palette.

A quietly patterned olive leaf design that layers well with linen neutrals and deeper wood tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
