Paradise Garden Red/Linen

Paradise Garden FabricJ719F-02

Paradise Garden Red/Linen pairs a lively floral trail with a soft linen ground, giving the design a fresh, hand-printed feel. The red petals and berries are lifted by olive and sage leaves, so the pattern reads bright but not harsh.

About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric is composed of 50% viscose, 25% cotton and 25% linen, with an approximate width of 128cm and a vertical repeat of 38cm and horizontal repeat of 64cm. In this colourway, the ground looks like a warm linen neutral, while the motif brings in clear red accents, blush outlines and leafy greens that keep the design spirited. The small-scale detailing inside the flower heads adds interest up close, and the trailing grey stems soften the overall effect. It is a textile with enough substance for both curtains and upholstery pieces that want a decorative, botanical statement.

How to use it

Use it on a loose armchair, blind or full-length curtain where the red flowerheads can sit against painted woodwork or pale walls. The linen-toned ground also works well with natural timber and muted greens, letting the pattern feel collected rather than overpowering.

Use for relaxed upholstery or drapery where the leafy red motif can add warmth and character.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
