Paradiso Red is a bright, coral-leaning red ground scattered with ornate birds, flowers and scrolling leaves. The layered motif feels lively and detailed, with cream outlines and jewel-like accents lifting from the linen-look background.

About this fabric

Paradiso Red from the Paradiso collection by Jane Churchill is composed of 60% linen and 40% polyester, with an approximate width of 128cm and a vertical/horizontal repeat of 64cm. The fabric shows a rich coral-red base with a softly woven look, giving the surface a slightly relaxed texture rather than a flat printed finish. Across the ground, the decorative bird-and-floral motif is picked out in cream, teal, yellow and deeper pinks, so the pattern reads busy and spirited rather than dark. The overall effect is warm and energetic, with enough structure in the cloth to suit both upholstered pieces and lined window treatments. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring warmth and movement to a sitting room, especially against plaster pinks, chalk whites or muted sage. It works well where the red can be repeated in cushions, trim or artwork so the pattern feels intentional rather than overpowering.

A lively coral-red base brings the embroidered birds and florals into vivid focus.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
