About this fabric

Wilder by Jane Churchill is a textile fabric with a repeat of approximately V 58cm / H 32cm and a width of approximately 128cm, so the pattern is built on a measured, all-over trail rather than a tiny scatter. In this colourway, the leaf motif reads as soft sage, apple and pale pistachio, with the light ground keeping the overall effect open and breathable. The cotton and linen content gives the surface a natural, slightly matte look, while the viscose adds a softer drape to the finish. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM, it is a practical decorative fabric with a refined country-house feel.

How to use it

Use Clemence Green where you want a quiet botanical note, such as relaxed curtains, a covered armchair or a window seat in a pale room. Its gentle green palette pairs well with painted timber, limestone tones and simple off-white linens.

A fresh sage trail that softens a room without feeling flat.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
