About this fabric

Woven in a 129cm width and repeating every 38cm vertically and 43cm horizontally approx., this fabric has a medium-scale botanical pattern that feels energetic without becoming busy. The composition of 37% Linen, 27% Viscose, 24% Cotton and 12% Polyester gives the cloth a natural, slightly textured character that suits both practical upholstery and softer window treatments. In this colourway, the emerald ground has a clear green depth rather than a dark forest note, while the petal and leaf details introduce touches of cream, muted gold and soft sage. The overall effect is smart and decorative, with enough tonal contrast to keep the design crisp from a distance and detailed up close.

How to use it

Use Chiana Emerald on a statement armchair, banquette or curtains where the green ground can add colour without feeling harsh. It works especially well with oak, rattan, parchment tones and restrained brass accents.

Pair with warm timber, linen neutrals and brass for a lively but tailored look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chiana Emerald without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
