Chiana Red/Green
Wilder FabricJ0219-02
Chiana Red/Green from Jane Churchill’s Wilder collection is a lively floral with a warm cream ground and a repeated scatter of fan-shaped blooms and leaf sprigs. The red, green and soft yellow accents give it a fresh, hand-embroidered look.

About this fabric
This colourway shows a pale cream background with sprigs and rounded flowerheads worked in red, sage green, yellow and touches of coral, so the overall effect feels bright but gently softened rather than vivid. The pattern has a generous vertical repeat of approx. 38cm and horizontal repeat of approx. 43cm, which gives the design a clear rhythmic spread across the cloth. Woven in a 37% Linen, 27% Viscose, 24% Cotton, 12% Polyester composition, it has the approachable texture and body of a decorative furnishing fabric. At approx. 129cm wide, it is a practical width for tailored curtains, cushions and statement upholstery pieces. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use it to bring colour to an otherwise quiet scheme: the cream ground keeps it airy, while the red-green palette sits well with natural wood, oak paintwork and aged brass. It would also make a striking accent on occasional chairs, pelmets or cushions against plain linen upholstery.
Pair with simple linens or dark timber so the lively red and green motif stays in focus.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chiana Red/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
