Cormar

Rainstorm

Apollo Plus Carpet

Rainstorm is a cool grey carpet with a densely mottled surface, blending charcoal, mid-grey and lighter silver flecks across the swatch. Its softly varied texture gives the colour depth without introducing a defined pattern.

About this carpet

Catalogued as a Carpet from Cormar’s Apollo Plus collection, Rainstorm has an Easy Clean category. The close-textured surface is made up of irregular grey and charcoal fibres, with pale flecks catching the light across the swatch. This creates a softly weathered appearance rather than a flat block colour, while the cool tonal balance keeps the overall look calm and restrained.

How to use it

Use Rainstorm where a practical, low-key grey is needed, pairing its cool charcoal flecking with pale timber, brushed metal or deeper graphite accents.

The cool mottled grey surface brings a practical, understated texture to contemporary upholstery schemes.

Pairs well with

Rainstorm is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
