About this fabric

This Primo Grande carpet reads as a balanced taupe, sitting between warm grey and muted beige rather than appearing distinctly brown or cool silver. Tiny light and dark fibres create a close-scale, peppered texture that gently shifts across the pile as the light catches it. Supplied as an Easy Clean carpet, Merlin combines its understated neutral colouring with a practical specification. The restrained pattern keeps the surface calm while adding enough tonal depth to avoid a flat, plain finish.

How to use it

Use Merlin to ground a relaxed scheme built around warm whites, putty, oatmeal and pale timber; its flecked taupe tone can also soften stronger charcoal or olive accents without competing with them.
