About this fabric

This plain chenille has a close, even texture with a subtle vertical grain rather than a printed motif, giving the taupe colour gentle surface depth. Made from 99% polyester and 1% nylon, it is 138cm wide and graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable, while its flame retardancy is suitable for domestic Cig & Match and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. The softly matte finish keeps the colour understated, with the weave catching light just enough to prevent the neutral tone from appearing flat.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe-beige on sofas, armchairs or dining seats where a softened neutral will sit comfortably with natural timber, cream, stone and deeper brown accents. Its restrained texture also works well as a grounding upholstery fabric in relaxed contemporary rooms.
