About this fabric

The medium-scale plaid is built from intersecting vertical and horizontal lines, creating softly defined blocks rather than a sharp, high-contrast check. Taupe and mushroom-brown areas give the colourway warmth, while grey and cream threads add a cooler, chalky lift. Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and rated for Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use LAN1601 on a tailored sofa or buttoned occasional chair where its muted taupe-grey ground can soften darker timber and black metal. Pair it with warm ivory, putty, olive or weathered brown accents to echo the plaid’s subdued natural tones.
