About this fabric

This 100% polyester chenille has a close, even weave that holds the broad checked pattern with a softly textured finish. The colourway combines a warm beige-taupe ground with cooler grey-green bands and narrow cream overchecks, creating gentle contrast rather than a sharp black-and-white effect. At 138cm wide, it is specified for contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair the warm taupe base with natural timber, oatmeal upholstery and aged brass, while the grey-green lines can be picked up in cushions or painted joinery. Its medium-scale check suits tailored armchairs, dining seats and relaxed contemporary sofas.
