About this fabric

This Porto Cervo colourway is a 100% polyester flat weave with a 138cm width and Domestic upholstery grade. Its small-scale, peppered surface shifts between warm taupe, charcoal and restrained blue-green, giving the cloth more visual depth than a plain neutral. The tightly woven texture reads neat and lightly tailored rather than plush, while the fine diagonal movement catches the light without becoming a bold pattern. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use the warm taupe base on a domestic sofa, dining chair or headboard, then bring out its cooler charcoal and muted blue-green flecks with painted cabinetry, smoked wood or understated teal accents. Its small-scale texture works especially well where a plain neutral would feel too flat.

The softly mottled taupe ground and fine dark flecks give domestic upholstery a quietly tailored, versatile finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
