About this fabric

Woven from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a compact surface with closely spaced V-shaped marks that create subtle movement without a bold pattern. Its sage-greige tone is quiet and earthy, with the chenille pile catching light along the raised diagonal ribs. Suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, it is a practical choice for seating as well as smaller upholstered pieces. The fabric is machine washable and has domestic cigarette and match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool, softened sage-taupe on a reading chair, sofa or banquette where its fine herringbone can add depth without dominating the room. Pair it with chalky whites, natural oak and warm stone tones to bring out the greige side, or darker olive accents to emphasise its muted green cast.

Its softly muted sage-greige herringbone brings understated texture to sofas, armchairs and dining seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside QUATTRO2112 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
