About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a compact, tactile texture that reads as a small-scale chevron or herringbone pattern across the swatch. The warm greige base is softened by ivory flecks, creating a muted shade that sits between cream and light stone. It is graded for contract and domestic upholstery, making it suitable for seating and other upholstered pieces. Aftercare is machine washable, and the fabric has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm ivory-greige colourway to upholster a tailored sofa, dining chair or headboard where its fine herringbone texture can add quiet detail to a neutral scheme. Pair it with natural timber, chalky walls and deeper taupe or olive accents for tonal contrast.

The softly flecked ivory-greige tone and fine herringbone texture suit tailored sofas, dining chairs and occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
