Corked

This shade reads as a warm, muted taupe-beige with enough brown in it to stop it feeling chalky. On a wall it absorbs more light than a pale neutral, so it brings a room in slightly and gives a gentle, enveloping look. In north-facing light it can lean a little cooler and more stone-like, while in south-facing rooms the warmth comes forward and the colour feels richer and more enveloping. It works well beside oak, walnut, rattan, and upholstered pieces in cream, tobacco, rust, olive, or deep charcoal. In Flat Matt and Claypaint it will feel softer and more earthy; in Eggshell and Soft Sheen it reads cleaner on joinery and cupboards.
