About this colour
At #E2DACA, Duvet Day reads as a light warm neutral with a gentle cream-beige base and just enough grey to keep it settled. It reflects light well, so it can make a room feel more open without turning stark. In a north-facing room it will look softer and slightly cooler, with the grey note becoming more noticeable. In south-facing light it feels warmer and more creamy, especially beside natural wood, oat-toned linen, taupe upholstery or painted joinery in the same family. In Flat Matt it gives the colour a quiet, even look on walls; in Eggshell or Soft Sheen it will feel a little more practical on woodwork and cabinetry.
How to use it
Duvet Day suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where you want a gentle backdrop for patterned curtains, pale oak, walnut or muted upholstery. It also works well on skirting, doors or fitted joinery alongside stone, mushroom and soft brown textiles.
A warm, easy neutral that sits softly on the wall and works well with both pale and deeper natural tones.
