About this colour

On a wall, #EEEFEE reads as a clean, airy neutral with the faintest green-grey undertone, so it softens a room while still keeping it bright. In north-facing light it can lean a little cooler and more pared back, with the green note becoming slightly clearer. In south-facing light it stays light and open, and the grey in it helps stop it from looking too bright or clinical. It sits well beside natural oak, pale ash, chalky whites, and woven neutrals, and it also gives a calm backdrop to richer upholstery colours.

How to use it

It works well in living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways where you want a light wall colour that does not compete with the furnishings. Pair it with oak woodwork, linen, or muted upholstery in stone, sage, or blue-grey.
