About this colour

This shade reads as a soft, light neutral with a faint beige-grey cast and a warm undertone. At #EDECE5 it reflects plenty of light without looking bright, so it can calm a room while still keeping it open. In north-facing light it will lean slightly cooler and more subdued, making the warmth feel restrained and elegant. In south-facing rooms it shows more of its creamy side and feels softer beside natural wood, woven textures and off-white trim. It works well on walls, and in Eggshell or Soft Sheen it would also suit joinery where you want a gentle contrast rather than a sharp white.

How to use it

Use Me Time in sitting rooms, bedrooms or hallways where you want an easy backdrop for upholstered chairs, linen curtains and pale oak furniture. It is also a good choice with warm white woodwork, muted greys, taupes and soft green fabrics.

A soft warm neutral that keeps a wall light without turning cold.
