Low Salt

Neutrals Paint

Low Salt is Coat Paints’ quietest kind of neutral, a pale off-white with a clean, airy reading. It sits close to white, but with enough body to feel softer on the wall.

About this colour

At #EEEFEE, Low Salt reads as a very light neutral with a cool edge, leaning slightly grey-green rather than creamy. It reflects a lot of light, so it can make smaller rooms feel more open without turning stark. In north-facing light it will look a little cooler and more muted, with the green-grey note coming forward. In south-facing rooms it stays fresh and pale, with a clearer white impression and only a faint softness beside warmer woods, painted joinery or upholstered furniture in stone, flax, oat or sage tones. In Flat Matt, Flat Matt Claypaint, Eggshell, Soft Sheen, Floor Paint or Exterior, it keeps the same restrained colour character across wall and woodwork use.

How to use it

This works well in living rooms, hallways and bedrooms where you want a pale backdrop beside natural oak, painted trims or linen-toned upholstery. It also pairs neatly with deeper neutrals, chalky greens and soft browns in a room with curtains or seating in understated shades.

A very pale neutral that stays soft and cool on the wall.
