Chenille fabrics Fabric006

Belsuede Ostrica presents as a pale ivory chenille with a softly tactile surface and an almost tonal appearance. Its light, warm-neutral colour is gently animated by fine vertical texture rather than a visible pattern.

About this fabric

The swatch is a close, even ivory cloth with a subtle warm beige cast that keeps the colour from reading as stark white. Fine vertical striations run through the surface, creating a delicate brushed effect and slight variation as the light moves across it. With no pattern or contrasting motif visible, the interest comes from the chenille texture and its quiet, softly dimensional finish. This light, composed colourway is particularly well suited to upholstery where a calm neutral with tactile depth is wanted.

How to use it

Pair the pale ivory tone with pale oak, warm white walls and natural woven accents for a gentle, tonal scheme. It can also lighten darker timber or painted furniture while retaining the visual softness of its fine chenille texture.

Use this softly textured ivory as a light, calming upholstery neutral with timber, chalky whites or muted natural tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
