Curtain fabrics Fabric005

Azafrane Mogano has a warm, earthy presence, with horizontal woven bands moving through cocoa brown, taupe and pale ivory. The close-up reveals a finely textured surface whose tonal shifts give the cloth quiet depth.

About this fabric

The design is formed from irregular horizontal bands rather than a single uniform stripe, creating a gently graduated rhythm across the width. Darker cocoa and brown passages anchor the swatch, while lighter taupe and ivory lines catch the light and soften the overall effect. Its visibly fine, even weave and catalogued position in Dedar’s Curtain fabrics collection make it particularly suited to fluid window treatments. The restrained contrast keeps the colourway relaxed while preserving a tactile, layered appearance.

How to use it

Pair Azafrane Mogano with chalky walls, natural timber and warm stone to draw out its cocoa and taupe tones. Full-length curtains would let the alternating bands read as a softly structured field rather than a bold stripe.

Use this warm taupe-brown stripe for softly textured curtains that bring layered depth without strong contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
