About this fabric

This colourway is built from warm taupe, mushroom and brown-grey threads, arranged in close horizontal lines rather than a printed motif. The centre lightens noticeably, while the top and bottom gather more depth, creating a gentle tonal progression across the cloth. The small-scale weave remains visible throughout, with tiny irregular flecks adding texture without overwhelming the restrained colour. Autrebois Giunco is listed in Dedar’s Curtain fabrics collection, making it a natural choice for drapery.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe-brown shade for full-length curtains in rooms with chalky neutrals, oak or aged stone. The lighter central tonal field will soften the overall effect, while the deeper edges add definition against pale walls.

Use this softly graduated taupe weave for relaxed curtains where its horizontal tonal shifts can read across generous folds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
