Jacquard fabrics Fabric003

Arena Dorato combines a warm greige ground with a quiet golden cast. In the photograph, fine vertical texture and soft folds create alternating pale and taupe-grey bands as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

Catalogued as a Fabric in Dedar’s Jacquard fabrics collection, Arena Dorato is shown here as a fluid cloth with a naturally gathered fall. Closely spaced vertical tonal variation runs through the warm greige base, with pale oat highlights beside deeper taupe-grey shadowing. Across the folds, the surface catches light in a restrained way, giving the gold cast depth without becoming bright or metallic.

How to use it

Use this warm greige-gold colourway for full-length curtains in rooms with taupe, stone or soft timber tones. Its fine vertical texture will become more visible as the cloth gathers and folds.

Use its warm greige-gold tone for full-length curtains where the soft vertical texture can read in the folds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
