About this fabric

The swatch shows an even satin face in a soft greige-taupe shade, sitting between warm grey and pale mushroom. Fine horizontal lines are just visible through the weave, adding delicate texture without creating a defined pattern. Light catches the surface subtly rather than producing a high-gloss shine, giving the colour a calm, softly reflective depth. With its fine-looking, fluid appearance, this colourway is particularly well suited to drapery and understated window treatments.

How to use it

Pair the cool silvery taupe with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed metal for an airy, contemporary scheme. It also works as a soft neutral backdrop in a layered tonal room of stone, mushroom and warm grey.

Use this cool silvery taupe at windows where its restrained satin sheen can soften a room without adding strong colour.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
