Aplomb Canard is a deep, cool teal satin with an uninterrupted plain face. Its compact blue-green tone appears softly lustrous across the swatch, rather than brightly reflective.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a solid satin surface in a concentrated duck-egg teal, balanced between blue and green with a subdued, inky depth. A fine, even texture is visible across the face, while the gentle sheen gives the colour slight variation as the light moves over it. With no performance features or further specification data supplied, its smooth, fluid-looking finish makes it most naturally suited to drapery. The absence of a motif keeps the focus on the saturated colour and restrained satin glow.

How to use it

Use Aplomb Canard for generous curtains where its cool blue-green tone can read as a calm, enveloping backdrop. Pair it with chalky neutrals, pale timber or warm brass to temper the depth without losing its elegant sheen.

Use this deep, cool teal to bring satin sheen and concentrated colour to full-length curtains or soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
