Amuleto Malachite

Velvet fabrics Velvet007

Amuleto Malachite brings a deep malachite teal to a tightly repeated geometric design of cream triangles and zigzag edges. Its softly textured velvet face gives the colour a subtly shaded, tactile finish.

About this fabric

Catalogued as Velvet, Amuleto Malachite has a richly coloured teal ground patterned with closely spaced cream triangular forms. The repeated motifs create a crisp, rhythmic surface, while the softly brushed face slightly diffuses the contrast rather than making it appear harsh. Malachite reads as a cool, saturated green-blue, with darker teal areas adding depth between the pale shapes. The substantial visual presence and velvet texture make this colourway particularly suited to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use the deep teal tone on a statement armchair, headboard or ottoman, pairing it with warm ivory, natural timber and aged brass to balance the cool malachite colour. The cream geometry can also anchor a room with other carefully chosen graphic accents.

A graphic teal velvet for statement chairs, footstools and contemporary upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
