About this fabric

This Dedar velvet combines pale ivory ground with rows of faceted triangular and diamond-like motifs, picked out in taupe, grey-brown and ochre. The ochre areas add a softly aged golden warmth rather than a bright yellow accent, while the pale ground keeps the overall colourway light. Its visibly plush, napped surface gives the regular pattern depth as the light shifts across the swatch. No performance features are noted for this colourway, so suitability should be assessed against the intended upholstery application.

How to use it

Pair this ivory-led colourway with warm timber, aged brass and taupe or camel upholstery for a quietly graphic, welcoming scheme. It would work especially well on a statement chair, headboard or compact sofa where the ochre motifs can be seen at close range.

Use this softly contrasting ivory, ochre and taupe velvet to bring warmth and graphic rhythm to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
