Andatura Malachite is a structured Dedar jacquard defined by disciplined vertical striping. Charcoal and ivory bands are sharpened by slender teal lines, giving the colourway a cool, graphic presence.

About this fabric

The design alternates broad charcoal stripes, slim black lines and pale ivory channels, with fine teal lines adding a distinctly cool accent. Its close woven surface gives the stripes a subtly textured, tactile appearance rather than a flat printed finish. The strong vertical rhythm reads crisp and architectural, while the restrained palette keeps the overall effect composed. As a fabric from Dedar’s Jacquard fabrics collection, it is well suited to upholstery or drapery where a tailored striped effect is wanted.

How to use it

Use the charcoal and ivory stripes on a clean-lined chair, headboard or curtain, then echo the cool teal pinstripes in cushions or painted joinery. The high-contrast vertical layout works especially well in rooms needing a sharper, more graphic note.

Cool teal pinstripes bring a crisp accent to the charcoal-and-ivory ground, while the regular vertical layout suits tailored upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
