Arc-en-ciel Terrae

Curtain fabrics Fabric001

Arc-en-ciel Terrae brings together warm terra-cotta, sandy beige, cream and brown in closely spaced horizontal stripes. The woven surface gives the colourway a softly irregular, tactile appearance rather than a flat, graphic finish.

About this fabric

The swatch is built from fine horizontal bands, with alternating light and dark threads creating a gently varied striped rhythm. Terra-cotta and russet notes warm the sandy cream ground, while slim brown lines add definition and visual depth. Small shifts in the weave let the lighter bands catch the light, giving the surface a subtle marl-like movement. As part of Dedar’s Curtain fabrics collection, this colourway has a relaxed, textural character suited to softly structured window treatments.

How to use it

Use the warm Terrae colourway for full-length curtains in rooms with oak, walnut or rattan, and echo its cream and sand tones in upholstery or rugs. Its restrained horizontal striping works particularly well alongside plain natural fabrics.

Pair the warm terra-cotta, sand and cream stripes with natural wood, woven textures and softly neutral furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
