Spiga Grey is shown as a very pale, cool grey textile with a tightly repeated chevron texture. Its near-white ground gives the small woven pattern a light, understated presence.

About this fabric

The swatch has a delicate herringbone effect, formed by closely spaced zigzag lines in subtly contrasting grey tones. The pattern reads as finely textured rather than bold, with the pale colour keeping the surface bright and airy. Viewed up close, the directional weave adds gentle movement without disturbing the calm tonal effect. No further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Spiga Grey where a room needs a quiet cool-grey textile with more surface interest than a plain weave. It would sit naturally with charcoal details, pale woods and muted blue-grey accents.

Use the cool, near-white grey as a calm foundation alongside darker charcoal, natural timber or softly coloured accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
