Spinone Ardesia

Upholstery fabrics Fabric003

Spinone Ardesia has a cool charcoal-grey ground with pale flecks running through a tightly woven, fine-scale herringbone pattern. The compact texture gives the swatch a measured, tailored appearance rather than a flat solid look.

About this fabric

Small chevron-like rows create the distinctive herringbone surface, with charcoal and lighter grey yarns producing a softly mottled salt-and-pepper effect. The dark Ardesia tone reads cool and shaded, while the fine interlacing catches the light in narrow vertical shifts. This fabric is catalogued in Dedar’s Upholstery fabrics collection, and no performance features, composition, width or rub-test figure are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use the cool charcoal tone on a compact sofa, dining chair or occasional seat where its close herringbone texture can add quiet definition. Pair it with chalky whites, pale stone and brushed metal for a crisp, considered scheme.

A cool charcoal-grey weave that brings tailored texture and subtle depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Spinone Ardesia without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
