About this fabric

The close weave is visibly textured rather than flat, with a restrained crosshatched effect created by fine, closely set threads. Its cool grey tone is light and softly mottled, reading clean and contemporary without appearing stark white. The surface catches the light in small, uneven points, which keeps the colour from feeling one-dimensional. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Utility Gris to bring a calm, cool-grey base to a sofa, armchair or understated curtain scheme. Its fine woven texture works particularly well with darker charcoal accents, pale timber and softly coloured linens.

A softly textured cool grey that pairs easily with both tailored upholstery and light, understated window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
