About this fabric

The palette stays close to pale grey, black and charcoal, with darker threads gathering into irregular horizontal bands across the cloth. Short, grain-like marks interrupt the lighter ground, giving the design gentle visual movement rather than a fixed geometric repeat. At close range, the weave reads as compact and slightly nubby, with the uneven yarn texture catching the light across the surface. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool, restrained grey on a sofa, armchair or ottoman where its charcoal flecks can add depth without introducing a strong colour. Pair it with chalky whites, black accents and natural timber for a quietly modern monochrome scheme.

The softly mottled grey and charcoal weave brings understated texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
