Spray Gris

Utility Fabric

Spray Gris is a pale, cool grey fabric with a softly distressed surface that resembles fine mineral wash or weathered plaster. Subtle vertical marks and tonal variation keep the light shade from appearing flat.

About this fabric

The surface is lightly mottled, with delicate grey flecks, cloudy areas and fine vertical striations visible across the swatch. Its near-white grey tone reads cool and airy, while the uneven texture adds a little depth without introducing a strong motif. This is catalogued as a fabric, and no performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Spray Gris where a room needs a quiet, chalky grey foundation: it would suit a relaxed upholstered chair, headboard or cushion, and its pale tone could also filter light attractively as a simple curtain.

Its pale, cool-grey surface brings a quiet weathered character to upholstery, cushions or softly tailored window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
