About this fabric

Supplied as a fabric from Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection, Roland Vaniglia is shown here in a warm ivory-vanilla colourway. The surface has a small-scale woven texture, with tiny tonal variations that give the pale ground more depth than a flat plain cloth. Fine vertical and horizontal marks create a subtle textile pattern, while the light shade catches softly across the weave. The balanced appearance makes this mid-weight-looking cloth suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Roland Vaniglia to lighten an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa while retaining a tactile surface, or pair it with relaxed curtains in a warm neutral room. Its soft vanilla tone works especially well alongside natural timber, chalky whites and gentle taupes.

A softly warm vanilla neutral with a fine woven surface that suits relaxed upholstery and understated window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
