Roman Squares Mastice

Fire-retardant Fabric001

Roman Squares Mastice pairs a warm, pale taupe ground with crisp ivory lines that travel diagonally across the swatch. The fine woven texture keeps the large geometric drawing tactile and understated rather than stark.

About this fabric

The base is a light putty-taupe shade with a softly mottled, crosshatched surface that catches the light gently. Narrow ivory bands cross from the edges and intersect across the face, creating open, irregular square and diamond shapes. The contrast is restrained: the warm neutral ground softens the graphic geometry, while the pale lines remain clearly defined. This fabric is catalogued in Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no further composition, width or performance figures are supplied.

How to use it

Use Mastice to add quiet structure to a warm neutral room: it would suit a tailored armchair, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains alongside ivory, stone and light timber. Its putty tone is especially effective where a geometric pattern is wanted without introducing a strong colour contrast.

A softly textured taupe ground and crisp ivory diagonals bring quiet architectural structure to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Roman Squares Mastice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
