Erbaluce Fond Marin

Jacquard fabrics Fabric003

Erbaluce Fond Marin combines deep teal, charcoal and olive with pale aqua and chalky white in a strongly graphic woven composition. Its irregular blocks of colour are animated by a repeated zigzag texture that catches the light across the swatch.

About this fabric

This Dedar jacquard has a visibly substantial, textured weave, with chevron-like lines giving the surface a tactile, broken rhythm. The Fond Marin colourway reads cool and atmospheric overall, led by blue-green teal and near-black charcoal, while olive and pale aqua introduce sharper contrast. Broad, uneven areas of colour make the design feel painterly rather than strictly geometric, with lighter sections lifting the darker ground. No performance features are noted for this Fabric listing.

How to use it

Use it on a statement armchair, ottoman or compact sofa where the deep teal and charcoal can anchor a room, then pick up the olive and pale aqua in cushions or painted joinery. Keep surrounding fabrics relatively quiet so the irregular woven pattern remains the focal point.

Use this richly coloured jacquard to bring graphic movement and layered depth to statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
