About this fabric

The pale blue-grey background gives this jacquard a quiet, atmospheric tone, while charcoal and blue-black scenery adds definition across the repeat. The design includes layered mountains, islands, pines, pagodas and pavilion-like structures, with muted mauve accents appearing on several roofs. Its dense scenic composition reads as a medium-scale chinoiserie landscape rather than a simple all-over motif. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool blue-grey ground with soft grey, aged ivory or charcoal upholstery, or let the mauve roof accents guide cushions and smaller decorative details. Its formal scenic character is particularly suited to a reading room, bedroom or elegant occasional chair.

A cool, scenic jacquard for bringing chinoiserie character to upholstery, curtains or decorative cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
