About this fabric

The swatch has a light sable-beige tone, warmed by faint cream and taupe threads within the fine, linen-like weave. Its sheer construction and delicate surface are visibly better suited to relaxed window treatments than to hard-wearing upholstery. The texture remains understated at a distance, while the close view reveals slight vertical and horizontal variation that keeps the pale colour from looking flat. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm pale beige at a window where its sheer quality can soften daylight without adding a strong colour statement. It would sit naturally with chalky whites, light timber and muted taupe upholstery.

Use this softly textured beige sheer for relaxed curtains that let daylight filter gently into the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
