About this fabric

The swatch shows a very light periwinkle blue, softened by a subtle grey cast that keeps the colour restrained rather than vivid. Its close, even surface has the characteristic softly brushed appearance of velvet, with slight shifts in tone as the pile catches the light. As a velvet, it is best suited to upholstered furniture where this smooth, tactile finish can be seen and felt. No performance features are noted for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Pervenche on a compact armchair, headboard or tailored sofa to introduce a cool wash of pale blue without overwhelming a room. Pair it with chalky whites, light timber and soft grey accents to reinforce its airy, powdery character.

The cool, softly brushed periwinkle tone brings a quiet, airy finish to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
