Velvet fabrics Velvet190

Adamo & Eva Pino Pino is a deeply shaded blue-green velvet with a calm, uninterrupted surface. The short pile catches the light subtly, giving the plain colour gentle depth rather than a high sheen.

About this fabric

The swatch appears as a rich, cool teal with a near-ink depth that reads darker towards the edges and in the quieter areas of the pile. Its smooth velvet face is plain, with only a restrained change in tone where the nap reflects the light. This concentrated colour would make an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard feel composed and enveloping. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Pair this deep blue-green with warm timber, aged brass or soft ivory to balance its cool, saturated depth. Used on a statement chair or sofa, its subtle nap will add tonal richness without introducing a pattern.

Use this deep blue-green velvet to bring concentrated colour and a softly opulent finish to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
