Velvet fabrics Velvet181

Adamo & Eva Tegola is a quietly coloured Dedar velvet with the depth of a weathered terracotta tile. Its plain face is softened by a fine, subtly directional nap that gently changes as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

This Tegola colourway reads as a muted blend of terracotta, dusty rose and soft brick, rather than a bright red or orange. The close, even velvet surface has a restrained sheen, giving the swatch tonal depth without introducing a visible motif or pattern. Catalogued as a velvet from Dedar’s Velvet fabrics collection, it has the visual weight and tactile richness associated with upholstered furniture. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the dusty terracotta tone with chalky neutrals, warm timber and aged brass, or use it as a softly saturated accent on a compact sofa or occasional chair.

Use this warm, muted velvet on an armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard to add quiet depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
