About this fabric

This Dedar velvet reads as a saturated blend of burgundy and purple, with a cool depth that becomes almost black in the darkest areas. Its fine, even nap gives the near-solid surface a soft, lightly mottled appearance rather than a flat block of colour. The velvet is catalogued for upholstery, making this richly shaded colourway especially suited to adding visual weight and a luxe finish to seating. No additional performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Sunday Wall Prugna on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its deep plum-burgundy tone can act as an enveloping focal point. Pair it with aged timber, smoked metal and muted neutrals to let the subtle velvet nap provide the room’s quiet glow.

Use this richly shaded plum velvet to bring depth and a softly luxurious finish to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
