About this fabric

This 417gsm velvet is densely patterned with large, vividly coloured birds, curling plumage, flowers and scrolling foliage across a dark violet-blue background. Warm coral, scarlet, pink and orange details stand out against the cool ground, giving the colourway a saturated, jewel-like depth. The fabric has a 134cm usable width, with a substantial 68cm vertical repeat and 134cm horizontal repeat to plan around when positioning the larger bird motifs. Supplied in a standard 40m length, it is particularly well suited to statement upholstery where the bold repeat can be shown at scale.

How to use it

Use Quetzal Velvet Violet on a reading chair, headboard or compact sofa where its deep violet ground can anchor a room. Pick up the coral and orange birds with plain cushions or painted accents, while keeping surrounding furnishings simple enough to let the dense pattern remain the focus.
