About this fabric

At 347 gsm, Zambezi Linen Green has a substantial handle suited to upholstery applications. The 137 cm usable width presents a large-scale scene of elephants, leopard spots, palm leaves, birds and small star-like motifs in layered turquoise, jade and deep emerald green. The pattern measures 54.9 cm vertically and 68.5 cm horizontally, so the illustrated composition needs thoughtful positioning when cutting. Fine dark outlining and the visible textile grain add definition to the vivid green forms against the warm beige background.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or occasional sofa where its cool emerald and turquoise greens can command attention. Balance the illustrated upholstery with warm beige, dark timber and restrained natural textures that echo its botanical ground.

Use the deep emerald and jade tones to bring a richly illustrated, theatrical accent to upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
