About this fabric

Safari Natural from Fryett's Fabrics' Animal Kingdom collection is a 140cm-wide fabric with a 62cm pattern repeat and a composition of 42% cotton, 38% polyester and 20% linen. The weave reads as a natural, slightly textured cloth rather than a flat print ground, which suits the earthy character of the design. Black zebra, giraffe and giraffe-like silhouettes stand out sharply against the beige background, while the scattered palms and acacia forms keep the repeat feeling lively and open. The overall effect is warm, dry and tonal, with the print detail doing the visual work rather than bright colour.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or bench where the warm beige ground can soften the strong animal motif. It also works well with rattan, dark timber and matte black accents for a natural, safari-inspired room.
