About this fabric

Part of the Flavia FR collection by Porter & Stone, this fabric is 55% cotton and 45% viscose and comes at a 140cm width, with a 13cm vertical and 11.5cm horizontal pattern repeat. The design shows a climbing botanical trail made up of small and medium leaves, each leaf outlined with a textured woven fill that gives the pattern a handworked look. In this colourway, the ochre reads as a mellow gold with a slightly earthy cast, balanced by muted sage and olive outlines on a light neutral ground. It feels more relaxed than formal, and the moderate scale means the repeat is clearly decorative without overwhelming a room.

How to use it

Use it on upholstery, cushions or relaxed curtains where the warm ochre leaves can pick up timber, rattan and brass tones. It works especially well with oatmeal, soft green and aged wood finishes.

Pair with natural woods and plain linens to let the ochre leaf trail stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
