Bali Chintz

Misc Fabric

Bali Chintz shows a bold vertical stripe in gold, red and ivory, with a dry cotton texture that keeps the look clean and graphic. The alternating bands give it a fresh, ordered feel rather than a busy one.

About this fabric

This colourway of Bali Chintz is woven in 100% cotton and comes with a 140cm width and 0cm pattern repeat, making the stripe layout straightforward to plan. The surface has a slightly slubby, natural cotton character that softens the vivid contrast between the warm gold bands, deep raspberry red stripes and pale ivory grounds. In the image, the colour reads bright but not glossy, with the red bringing energy and the lighter shades keeping the overall effect airy. As a textile with no performance features noted, it suits decorative schemes where the stripe itself is the main statement.

How to use it

The warm gold and red palette works well in rooms that need a smart, lively accent, especially on cushions, occasional upholstery or Roman blinds. Pair it with plain ivory, sand or muted red tones so the stripe remains the focal point.

Use for tailored blinds, cushions or statement seating with crisp lines.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
